The Past As The Future
I'm realizing now - 30 years after the fact - that my years living as a Penn State Phi Sig were pivotal to my success throughout my life. And the friendships I started then are still as strong and maybe even more important to me now. It's also become obvious to me that the way we lived at the house then is not the way it is now. Obviously, not much is the same as it was 30 years ago in this world, so I don't expect it to be exactly the same. But much of what we did then still applies now, and the alumni brothers who have recognized the differences, and re-built 501 S. Allen want the actives to be confident that their Phi Sig experience will be a life-long reward as ours has been. So the blog you are reading is one of the components of what we want to build: a way for our experiences to help Kappas grow and continue the Phi Sig legacy at Penn State.
